Be safe when running

Although running is a notoriously safe activity it is important to always consider yours and others safety.

Here are our key messages to help stay safe when running:

Be visible to others and ensure you can see where you are going. Don’t become another “I tripped over a tree root I didn’t see” or “I ran into a post” patient for us.

Be aware of your surroundings – if you are listening to music then ensure you can still hear background noise.

Let someone know the route you are running and take your phone with you in case you need assistance along the way.
